Welcome back to The Vardon for the 2025 golf season! We are so excited to jump back into warm weather and fun times on Wednesday nights! As we get closer to our first Ladies' Night, please take the time to read this through and let me know if you have any questions!
Tee Times: Like last year, we will have tee times available on the front and back nine. Tee timeswill be blocked off for the Ladies League only starting at 2 p.m. Our first League Night will be on May 21st if the weather cooperates! Please make your tee times through the Pro Shop, or our Vardon Members may book online through the member portal.
Games: There will be 2 skill games on the front and back 9. $10 paid each week in the Pro Shop will get you into these games. These winnings will be a gift card in the Pro Shop. There will also be 2 “free” games on the front and back 9 that are included in your PAID $30 league fee. These winnings will be a Grille & Bar gift card. League fees are paid directly through the Ladies League Venmo account, cash, or by check (payable to Ladies League at the Vardon) for our ladies who don’t use Venmo. You must pay your $30 league fee to enter the “free” games.
Hole-in-One Insurance: Once again, we’re offering Hole-in-One Insurance to the Ladies League! Like the men, this will be separate from your $30 league fee. For an additional $50, you will be entered into the Hole-in-One Insurance, which means any hole-in-one you make is covered. “Traditionally”, when an individual makes a hole-in-one on the course, the player usually buys drinks for anyone in the clubhouse, which has proven to be costly in the past! With that being said, if you make a hole-in-one, you will receive a $100 Grille & Bar gift card to be used to celebrate with your friends! You will also automatically be entered into the Ladies League Hole-in-One Tournament on the last Wednesday of League Night! If this sounds exciting enough, the $50 insurance can also be paid through the Ladies League Venmo account. This one is completely your choice!
Punch Cards and Paying for Your Round: Like last year, your round of golf will be $30 each week and does not include a cart. This $30 is NOT your league fee. Members - your round is included in your membership, but the cart is separate. If you wish to purchase a punch card, it will again be $250 for 10 rounds of golf and does not include a cart. Punch cards can be purchased in the Pro Shop.
League Nights in the Grille & Bar: Big change this year for league nights! On Men’s and Ladies Nights, the Grille & Bar will remain open to the public. While the restaurant team will keep league nights in mind when it comes to booking reservations/parties, the public will be welcomed in on league nights. Please respect them when they join us!
Theme Nights and the Fairway Bar & Event Center: We’re very excited to announce the new Outside Bar in the Event Center! The outside bar will be open on our 3 theme nights that we plan to have this year, which are Sex and the City Night (June 11th ), USA Night (July 2nd), and Back to School (August 20th). Each night will also have its own drinks to correlate with the theme! Keep an eye out for specific dates and more info on our Ladies League Facebook page!
Ladies League will be run through the Pro Shop with Camille Cook (myself!) heading it up and Morgan Hennessy being our social media master and fun coordinator! As the directors of the League, Morgan and I will be keeping track of paid/not paid attendees and running points on all things Ladies League. ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BY JUNE 4TH TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LEAGUE “FREE” GAMES AND BE ENTERED INTO THE HOLE-IN-ONE TOURNAMENT.
