The Grille and Bar and Four Season Patio areas are the perfect spot for a quick bite after your round, or a cozy dinner with the family.

The Grille and Bar features, great appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and pastas, along with unique signature items of Vardon. Our Poke, and Jasmine Rice bowls, are Vardon Member Favorites, not to mention our Steaks and Chops.

THE NEW FOUR SEASON PATIO is the perfect dining area to have the outside feel, without the elements.

It is open to the public, for private Dinner Parties, Baby Showers, Graduation Parties, and Christmas Parties. Occupancy for dinner is a max of 125. It can be divided into two spaces during certain times of the year.

PLEASE NOTE: During the height of the Golf Season, the porch is not available for to book for parties that are non-members of The Vardon.

From mid November thru mid March The Grille and Bar transforms into The Vardon Chophouse featuring fresh wild caught seafood, steaks, chops, pasta, and our Chophouse Jumbo King Crab Legs, stellar appetizers and desserts.

On Sunday’s during this time frame, join for Minot’s Best Brunch served in the way brunch was intended.

Our NEWLY remodeled OUTDOOR EVENT CENTER is the place to be for outside events, golf outings, tournaments, and graduation parties.

Complete with its own bar, TV’s, ceiling fans, and outdoor kitchen area, and covered metal roof.

Thank you for the dessert as well, I forgot to thank you before we left, that was delicious. Lexi, treated us well too, you have a great employee there. we have not had many date nights but tonight made up for lost time.

My husband and I went to the Vardon Chophouse for a dinner date. And below is a complete rave!
The meal was phenomenal. Hands down the BEST (no exaggeration) meal we have had since moving to North Dakota almost ten years ago. Seriously, the BEST!

We were given a pickled raw veggie Cruté to share, it was fresh and light which was wonderful in place of the normal crusty bread.

I started with the French Onion Soup. I have had this soup all over the world and this was better than any I have ever enjoyed. I wanted to drink every last drop of the broth when I hit the bottom of the bowl.

Mitch ordered the fried calamari. He raved. He said the batter was perfect and crunchy. Not greasy and the calamari was not rubbery as if it had been frozen prior. He polished his appetizer, with ease including the marinara dipping sauce which tasted homemade.

A pair of perfectly cooked NY Strip Steaks adorned our plates paired with bacon-wrapped asparagus and cubed sweet and russett potatoes. Mmmm, 😋 I have lunch for tomorrow.

The end of our culinary symphony was a warmed giant brownie topped with toffee pieces, served with NY vanilla …the perfect ending to our evening.

The fresh catch sole a few weeks ago and the sea bass last week were absolutely wonderful. The staff at Vardon’s Chophouse is simply OVER THE TOP.

I wanted to drop you a note, yesterday mom and I had lunch out at the Vardon, the food and service was superior! Emmy was our server, and she was fantastic! Mom had never been out there, and she kept commenting on how clean and bright it was and the staff was just happy.

Reviewing just the restaurant at the club house. Serene, verdant setting within the golf course, plenty of parking and seating. Entrance is through the club shop selling golf accoutrements. Staff and manager are very friendly and eager to please. Ray even remembered our previous visit and even the wines we had ordered! A nice touch!
Food is top-notch and at reasonable prices too. Ordered Pork Shanks and Onion Petals for appetizers, accompanied by a glass of Leviathan California red blend - a relatively bold and dry wine with complex notes of oak, tobacco, and blackberry/plum. The Pork Shanks came with BBQ sauce and were tender/flavored; the lightly battered Onion Petals were a novelty, and tasty despite being under-salted. Dinner for three consisted of house salads, Delmonico Steaks with Veggies and Sweet Potato Fries, and Vardon Fish and Chips (substantituted by crispy string fries). Food was wonderful; steaks were perfect at medium-rare, fish (white fish, assuming, Walleye) was lightly battered, crisp, and perfectly salted. Sides of Creamed Spinach, Veggies, and Sweet Potato Fries too were tasty. Overall, a great place to dine (and of course, golf) while in Minot.

Valentines celebration with 40 other couples at The Vardon last night. We have been going to the couples meals that the Vardon has been doing since November and have taken part in 4 of their 8 fantastic dinners.

Last night was the end of season 2 and it was another fantastic 4 course meal paired with the right wine/champagne/beer or spirits for each course.

We missed their Mexican dinner this season, they served flights of Don Julio with one course and I LOVE tequila so I was sorry we didn’t get to that one.

Ray and Jennifer Cook and their team are absolutely brilliant!!!!! I highly suggest you check out these dinners next season (starting November 2022) and reserve your spot immediately as they always sell out. It was a perfect Valentines Day, great food and drink and amazing company.

So much Fun!!! Oh and their main course tonight was a 38 oz tomahawk ribeye steak for two with candied brussel sprouts and smoked macaroni and cheese was a “show stopper” as they say.

A lot of leftovers and our dogs loved the bones - a happy Valentines Day for our sweet pups too !

The Vardon Team hosted an excellent fundraising event for the Minot Public Schools Foundation in September. Ray Cook went above and beyond to ensure the setup was seamless! The event food was really tasty, seating set up for our event was perfect and the attendees really enjoyed themselves. And we raised more funds than anticipated!! Thanks to Ray and the Vardon! We can’t wait to return next year!
